Finished main editing of our Malpelo/Cocos video. Our show ended up over 55mins and 2GBs and still have good stuff that didn't make the "show".

The following was a trial at uploading HD video, a first for me. So these are just some prime parts. Still does not look HD to me. Had issues uploading at Viemo but finally the wmv 720-30p file uploaded. Any suggestion on better ways, formats, etc, are welcome. Using Sony Vegas Movie Platinum to edit.

Enjoy! We did!

Very nice clip. Im jealous!! What were you shooting with?

Vimeo coverts your file to flash to make it easier for internet streaming. I don't think you will improve things much if your file was already 6mbps 720. The streaming flash version will not look as good as your original.

I've tested wmv, divx and mp4 renders and once vimeo does it's flash conversion, they all look about the same.

Thanks. That silky had been hanging around but when I dove down I think I invaded his personal space and he didn't like it. It was an interesting 30seconds. First I thought if I get bit everyone will be p*@%ed off, second "I hope I switched to auto-focus in time" and as I bumped him for the 3rd or 4th time "I hope the port stays on".

Hmmm, Mike you might want to match up MJH in your stores database. This is the HC7, Gates SWP25 system we bought from H2O Photo Pros. It worked great, as you can see it can go from WA to close up very quickly and is quite sturdy.

While I did shoot the silky and white tip clips all other credit goes to my same ocean dive buddy and wife Julie. She is now officially hooked on diving camera in hand!
