don't know if any of you saw some presentation on TV the other day but they demonstrated a little pack that gets strapped to the tank and clippped off to one of t your fins with a button holding a switch. If a shark gets too close for comfort, press button and shark turns away pretty quickly. Something about them not liking some frquency vibrations or something. You can't notice it but they sure as hell do and can't stand it. Can't remember the exact details of the gadget but I think they called it a Shark Pac...
If not too expensive, and you were going shark diving without cage, would you be one to wear this? and what's your feeling on this?

Interesting............I wonder how their sucess rate is? I guess it would only take one bite to ruin a good thing.

Does it work for the IRS? They are sharks too??

Teasing of course.........well not entirely.

It's hard enough to get close to sharks as it is. It depends on what types of sharks, if there are cages to be used, I would not want to be the first one to try it out...:D

I find a camera makes great shark repellant.....
Waste of money IMHO

To repel sharks I use a picture of Don King taped to my tank

Sometimes pepper spray works on bears...sometimes it doesn't. Same way with shark "repellants?" Guess it depends on how hungry the shark is. It might think the gadget is dessert...Seriously...I have to mention the fact that shark attacks on divers are VERY rare...
