Okay, this is probably a dumb question, but I've been screwing with my camera on land, trying for macros of spiders and such, as practice, and I can't seem to work this out.

I have the My Modes set, where I've set the aperture and shutter speed. I'm still experimenting with my new strobe and numerous other factors, so I'd like to be able to EASILY adjust the aperture without screwing up the shutter speed. In Manual, I can't even figure out the long way to do it since I can't find the aperture/shutter speed settings, setting it in "A" mode causes the camera to sometimes choose outrageously long shutter speeds (like 1 second!), and to do it in My Modes requires a bit of a time commitment. I read through the instructions, but no dice. I'm just trying for a way to quick-change aperture and shutter speeds?

Thanks!

OK, I have a 5050 - but I think it is the same on the 5060.

When you have your camera set to manual, to change the shutter speed, all you need to do is use the jog dial (which is below the setting dail). Then to change the aperature, press the button on the side with the +/-, hold it and turn the jog dial again. You will see the display change on your screen.

If you are in macro mode and wish to change the distance - give the AF/MF button a quick press. A scale will appear on the left side of your screen. Now you have the 4 buttons around the ok button, the top button will give you a greater distance and the button on the bottom will zoom in.

As said I hope it is the same on the 5060. Good luck!
