Setting Atom 2 for Nitrox

I am setting the Atom 2 for nitrox diving. I am having trouble getting the setting saved. I get to the Gas 1 setting, scroll to 32%, hit the "A" button as instructed, but then the screen moves to Gas 2. I also tried pressing the A and S buttons for 2 seconds and it goes back to the "Set F" screen. When I go back to Gas 1 screen, 32% is still flashing. What am I doing wrong? Or is it suppose to flash? I would think that when you "save" the setting, the number would stop flashing. HELP. Going on a dive very soon and I thought I had this figured out. Difficult manual, to say the least.

Have you tried disabling the 'default' setting ????....

Not sure how to do that. There is a default to 50%, which I did turn off.

That's the one......Now try setting all the gases; 1-2-3, to 32% and see what happens.......
