Serious volunteering related to coral reef conservation (monitoring)

Hi all!

I'm looking for opportunities to participate in coral reef monitoring - preferably on the Great Barrier Reef, Q1-Q2 2018. I'd love to get in contact with a "serious" research organization or something similar - not a "nice holiday volunteering opportunity dive if you like" kind of operation. I'm an relatively "experienced" drysuit diver (800+ dives).

Looking forward to any suggestion you might have!
