Sorry, if the post goes off topic, but I gotta vent...

Well, yesterday I ate a bagel with muenster cheese for breakfast with a diet coke. 15 miles on the bike with Wifey. We go to a bike shop afterwards to get some parts for Wifey's bike and the people working there are complete morons. One acts like she doesn't know anything and then the one that offers us hope gets us 3 correct parts and one wrong one. Jen goes in to swap it out (she already paid for them - $2 each) while I'm in the parking lot replacing the other 3. She comes back out and says that the guy told her that he'll be out in a minute, because those are the right parts. Well, I went back in and got it straightened out, but what a pain. Then, we go to my favorite bike shop (the other one just happened to be the closest Cannondale dealer) to show her the road bike that I want to get for this triathlon (sorry, but I refuse to do this race on a full suspension downhill mountain bike) and to test ride it. Plus, she needed some tools of her own and a new helmet. Well, I took the bike for a spin (love at first crank) and left her inside to look at helmets. Long story short, we were treated so well, that she walked out with tools and a helmet and I put a lay-away downpayment on my bike :) Happy endings after all.

Back to topic:
Lunch - sushi and a beer
Dinner - Harrisburg Brewfest - about 6 beers (total volume - this is just to taste/sample) 3 elk/venison/buffalo slim jims and a soft pretzel - horrible, I know.
Second dinner - tamarind soda and munch on some chips while I watch Wifey eat dinner - I couldn't believe how not hungry I was.
Snack - watermellon

Nothing so far today. I'll eat some fruit soon.

-Frank
