Wasn't sure quite where to post this, so I reckon I'll go for the broad audience...

Getting ready for a ski trip and I get to wondering... should I bring my Andy's jumpsuit drysuit underwear for the slopes? It seems like it should be the perfect garment.

Or it could get me ridiculously overheated.

Not sure.

Hmmm. Guess that depends on how aggressively you ski and how cold you tend to get. Was thinking about doing the same with my Viking 400g thinsulate--hubby and I are tossing around the possibility of a train trip to somewhere near the Arctic Circle in January for 2 days of exploring and freezing our tails off.

Where are you looking at?

We were looking at a train trip from Winnipeg to Churchill but we'll probably have to settle for a western US trip due to my vacation schedule at work. I was hoping to see the Northern Lights.

I will definitely go north sometime. I read a lot of history surrounding polar exploration. I just thing it's a really interesting period in history. Don't give up, maybe you can get up there sometime later in the future. And actually, you don't need to go up that far to see the northern lights. I've seen them a bunch of times in Newfoundland. I guess Ohio is just a little too far south.
