I am considering a (appx) 7mm semi dry wetsuit with 'waterproof' zipper for winter here in Vic, Australia, I'm currently using a 5-7 Oceanic 'steamer' with a rear zip entry which is great but notice the water flow through on my back, I wear a sleeveless vest on top which does help. I tend to do most of my snorkelling solo and the occasional scuba dive with a buddy, my question is is it possible to don this type of suit without the help of someone else?
I've heard the waterproof zips are difficult to fully close by yourself.
Any recommendations for particular suits that are easier to self don than others would be greatly appreciated.
