Seiko Computer software (Dive Rite, Tusa, Zeagle, Cressi, Apex, etc.)

You know those Seiko Computers - the ones rebranded by Dive Rite, Tusa, Zeagle, Cressi, Apex, etc. They are all identical in functionality, I believe. My question is, are they all supported by the same PC software - or does one or other of the brands have better PC software?

Any thoughts or corrections to my assumptions welcome! Thanks.

I've tried the Zeagle, Apeks and Tusa software and they all appear to be the same with the exception of some file names, sample profiles and the background image in backimg.bmp

The computers themselves, identical except for the name.

I wonder if it will be the same for the new version 3 computer that Zeagle just announced.

I'm resurrecting old thread becouse i wasn't bale to find complete info about it anywhere. So i made my own researches.

There is two diffrent softwares which support Seiko based computers. The first one was PCLogBook and it's exacly same software only diffrence is background logo and some locks which prevet you to use it with other computers (you need unofficial patches to avoid it). This software is for Windows XP/2000.

- seiko-patch-apeks-v1.exe (Unofficial you need it to use with other brands)

PCLogBook for Cressi-sub v6.01
- Archimede I
- Archimede II

- seiko-patch-cressi-v1.exe (Unofficial you need it to use with other brands)

DiveRite NiTek Logic v3.25 (diffrent software)
- NiTek DUO
- NiTek TRIO

PCLogBook for Scubapro v3.01
- Xtender

PCLogBook for Tusa v4.00
- IQ-700
- IQ-800
- seiko-patch-tusa-v1.exe (Unofficial you need it to use with other brands)

PCLogBook for Zeagle N2iTion v1.1.1 (formally N2ition-PC)
- N2iTion

Besouse old software didn't support VISTA/Widnows7 it was created another software DiveLogBook. It works little diffrent than old one. Seiko created main application and other companies just created plugins for their computers. There's support for more computers than in old one and works for Windows XP/2000 and VISTA/Windows7 (x64 is not supported)

Excellent research Rygar. But I am curious: Besides Seiko, I understand there are two more dive computer softwarer developers (Pelagic being one of them). Can you confirm this and provide us with some basic info about the other software developers?

It seems that also Seemann Sub XP-Eins is also Seiko based computer.
