I purchased the Halcyon ACB 20 system a few months back and put a dozen or so dives on it. My only complaint is that it moves around too much when I am underwater, sliding down the strap and bunching up by the buckle. So I came up with two possible solutions:

1. Switch the existing belt slides with serrated ones, although I am not sure how well it will work and suspect the weight will still move destroying my nice webbing with it.

2. Mount the belt slides behind the backplate, although I feel this will put the weight too far on my back and not on my sides where I like it.

Anybody else use this system? How do you do it?

Thanks all...

The older ones bolted directly to the back plate so they could not move.
On the ones you use....Are you threading your webbing through both sides of the tri-glide and then through the (for lack of other words) the "Belt Loop" on the back side of the weight pouch?

Just found This even though you probably already have it done correctly.

thanks 4 the info

I ended up doing that but it was still slipping, so I put the tri glide behind the backplate and looped the belt through the backplate and tri glide and back out. It sits on my sides ok, although I find that it is a little too far back. Perhaps it would be in then correct spot if I was a little less fat...
