Hi,
Last september we did a 2 week itinerary on Felo, had a very nice time. Crew was surprised to have 2 usa guests and treated us well. The other guests were friendly after alittle bit of time. Thankfully no smokers on board which we heard might be a problem but it wasn't.
Food was pretty standard fare , nothing special but filling. We liked breakfast the best, custom made omletts, no bacon but we knew that in advance since Muslim culture doesn't appreciate pork...
We will probably go back on Felo at some point, our dive guide knew english but hadnt spoken it in a while so it was enjoyable having fun with his english and our arabic , he was a very good guide and was there when we wanted his help and left us alone underwater when we wanted to be left alone. There was a dutch born guide who was also helpful but primarily spent his time with the , dutch, german and swiss guests
Our 2 week cruise started in Hurghada and ended 2 weeks later in Port Ghalib after going east , and deep south
Price was rather excellent and diving was wonderful, brilliant coral, lots of fish , dolphins and etc. Numerous sharks , special fun with oceanic whitetips hanging out under the boats at numerous locations, hanging under boat at Elphinestone and other locations was the key to seeing these impressive animals
Boat was in better than average condition near the end of the season but one of the zodiacs sprung a leak during the last 4 days which slowed down the diving but really no big thing, we were in the Egyptian Red Sea diving for 2 weeks , can't wait to go back...
Hope this helps,
Scubajeg

I was on Dominator 5-6 years ago. Nothing to complain, guides and crew were good, food was on par with industry standards and what you paid for. Most of the guests were from german speaking countries. I was travelling alone and was last one to check in and ended up in the cabin right next to the engine room where there are also generators running 24/7. I did not get much sleep that week. The boat was fully booked being September (high season) and a lot of other guests also wanted to sleep on top deck, so there was a bit of competition. Bottom line is I would avoid this boat if it is fully booked. I recommend you to check whether the boat you are booking is due dry dock in that winter. If it is due drydock, this will indicate it to be less maintained than the other. I recommend brothers/daedelus/elphinstone itinary, it is world class diving in those sites.
