Seattle, Washington, U.S.A.. Sometime in the Summer of 1962. Probably the first all-women diving contest in that area. It was called the Mermaid Dive. Women divers from as far as British Columbia, California, and even some Ama Divers (Pearl Divers) from Japan made an appearance. The Amas were also a part of the Seattle World's Fair that year. I also added an article from the March 1963 issue of Skin Diver Magazine.
