search?

I have never been able to get the search box (above to the right in the blue bar) to work for me.
I could be in the photo area, type in "D90" and it comes up with no matches. then I go into the "Nikon niche" forum and there are 10 headers with "D90" in the forum.
Why is this?
I see alot of responces to questions like "If you search this forum you will see quite a few threads that discuss your question". But i have never been able to search anything that had any results.
Help please.

Our .vbulletin search implementation doesn't work especially well with most 3 character search terms. A couple of options that should work better:

try this: *D90* - may not work appreciably better...
use Google - type: D90 site:scubaboard.com into a Google search window.
use our Google custom search: Scubaboard - Google custom search
