I'm looking to put a Miflex hose on my Air Source alt air. While researching the options for a Miflex hose, I went to divesports.com and found this page, XS Scuba MiFlex Braided Alternate Air Inflator Hose. The photo of the Seaquest style male connector does not match that of what is on my Air Source. Mine looks more like the Scubapro style.

Has anyone who uses a Seaquest Air Source replaced their standard hose with a Miflex, and if so, which one worked?

I don't think there's actually a specific MiFlex hose for a given Air2/AirSource inflator/reg. I think all these guys are selling is one of the regular MiFlex LP hoses with the appropriate XS adaptor already installed, effectively making a custom LP inflator/altair hose.

Could be wrong, but that's what it seems to me. If I'm wrong, then the hose will not have an adaptor installed, but will have the appropriate connector already on the hose.

I see that the Miflex inflator/alt air hose is a standard reg hose with an adapter.

I'm wondering if anyone who owns a Seaquest BCD with Air Source has had a problem connecting a Miflex hose with Seaquest style adapter to their Air Source (not Air Source 2 or 3). The male fitting on my Air Source looks more like a Scubapro fitting than a Seaquest fitting. My Air Source was purchased new in 2005 with the BCD and has not been modified in any way.

I'll find out soon enough, since I've already had my LDS (who carries XS Scuba) order me a 24" MiFlex reg hose (XS MLP24-BK) with a SeaQuest QD adaptor (XS AC920) to replace my inflator/AirSource 2 hose.

Sounds like you have an original AirSource - maybe they've changed connectors since then?
