Any opinions on the new Sealife line? I had an old DC310 that flooded last year (my fault!)

I tried to find a replacement digital camera, but I think they've become extinct.

Also....does anyone have any experience with a soft bag camera housing. I can't remember the brand name, but a diver had one when I flooded my camera. His didn't flood. Help me jog my memory on the name and tell me if anyone has had good and/or bad experiences.

and...no...I'm not ready for an expensive digital camera and housing yet.

Thanks

Jim

Jim:

The new Sealife Cameras are very nice. They definitely produce a better quality image than the older cameras, and I think the design is much better as well. The current model, DC600, is a 6mp camera.

Let us know if you have any specific questions.

Call Pioneer Reserach. They are the parent company to SeaLife. chances are they have they still have the used replacement cameras in their service department.

I emailed Sealife..the DC310 is out of production and out of stock in the company. So I bought a DC600...looks nice and takes great shots above water. We'll see next month how it does underwater in Belize. The good news is that all my accesories still work! And I bought an extra O-ring this time!!!!

Thanks for the comments.
