I have a DC 600 with the digital pro flash. I recently bought a DC 1400 with the Photo/Video light. When I assembled the two lights (stacking the trays below the cameras), the rig did not seem to be too sturdy. I am concerned that the tray will break when I attempt to adjust the flex arms. I have seen the dual flex-connect tray on line and adapters to use for connecting the older style lights to the flex connect tray. Has anyone had experience with this setup? Is it more rigid? How easy is it to install the old arms to the adapters. Can I connect the arms with adapters directly to the tray or do I need the grips as well. Thanks in advance.
