As the number of Flex-Connect accessories from SeaLife grows, so does the systems compatibility with different brands of underwater lights and cameras.
Flex-Connect Micro, Single, and Dual Trays are universally compatible with most brands of underwater cameras including SeaLife, GoPro, Olympus , Fantasea, Sea&Sea, and many more and use a standard ¼-20 tripod mount. The trays allow users to create a setup for any diving environment by providing a platform to add Grips, Flex Arms, Mounts and powerful Sea Dragon Lighting. Ranging from ultra-compact to more robust and feature-packed, the versatile Flex-Connect system provides an almost limitless amount of underwater camera setups that can be quickly adjusted and reconfigured.
Additionally, the latest Flex-Connect accessories now allow a host of configuration options involving many different brands of lights and cameras:
The Flex-Connect Y-S Adapter (SL994) attaches any underwater light using a Y-S mount including Sea & Sea, Olympus, Light & Motion, Inon, and Fantasea to the Flex-Connect system of Grips, Trays, Flex Arms, Cold Shoe Mounts and more with no need to worry about compatibility issues.
The Flex-Connect Ball Joint Adapter (SL995) connects Sea Dragon Lighting and Flex-Connect accessories to any underwater camera using the 1/25mm ball joint mounting system. This heavy duty aluminum piece is built for maximum durability, and like all Flex-Connect accessories, it instantly connects Sea Dragon Lighting to a set with just a click.
With the Flex-Connect Adapter for GoPro® Cameras (SL996) divers can connect a GoPro camera directly to a Flex-Connect Cold Shoe Mount, Flex Arm, or Ball Joint adapter. Its the ideal way to mount a GoPro camera directly to a SeaLife or other underwater camera, so users can simultaneously capture photos with one camera and video with another.
The Flex-Connect Handle (SL998) is planned for release in late May, and will instantly transform the Sea Dragon 1200 and 2000 Lumen Lights into powerful, handheld dive lights with just a click.
SeaLife recently created a new accessory display available to its dealer network that showcases the Flex-Connect line of accessories. We want to make it as easy as possible for divers to get the best results out of their underwater cameras, stated Karl Schuster, SeaLifes Sales Manager. With the new accessory display, SeaLife dealers are able to clearly showcase these easy-to-use and interchangeable accessories. Dive retailers who are interested in the new SeaLife Photo Center Accessory Display should contact karl@pioneer-research.com.
