I bought this camera a weeks ago, to discover that it has a problem
Not sure what the problem is. The owner told me I needed to reload the firmware
That didn't work. Don't know if I did it wrong. But I don't really want to screw with it
See the last picture to see what the problem is...

So here is the deal. I'm selling it as parts, including the underwater housing, the flash,
the docking stations, all cables & accessories, the carry bag and an extra gadget bag.
It sells for $300 to $600 online
It can probably be repaired, or used for parts, if you have one of these.

Asking $125 for the whole deal

It has a cracked LCD screen..If you can find a Vivitar 5340s you can download the firmware to it and it will be the same as a DC500. They are getting hard to find. I found 2 on ebay..and they work great.....

Just sent it for repairs, (to replace the LCD screen).
Its not available until further notice.
thanks

OK, this camera has been repaired by Sealife. They replaced the lcd screen and the front & back casing (the old one had a few scratches. The camera now looks & works like brand new.

Will take $350, or reasonable offers.

Must comment on the folks at Sealife:
They were extremely courteous, prompt in doing the repairs & shipping the item back and ABSOLUTELY reasonable in the repair costs. I expected to pay a lot more.
