Hi

We are off to Oz in late November, and would love to see some seadragons. We will be flying into Perth, and would like to know where is the best (i.e. most likely) place to see them in W.A.

From reading around it seems that you have a good chance in Esperance, but is it a much better chance than, say, Albany?

We can fly or drive to Esperance, but since it's a long way, if our chances are not much better there, is it worth the effort?

Also, any reccommendations for shops to dive with?

Thanks in advance for your help

Hi,

You have a good chance to see the sea dragons all year round from Esperance.

Sorry, I have not been there for a long time so not sure which dive shop to go with but its definately worth the drive down south as there is spectacular country along the way.

Failing that you can see the sea dragons in the Hillarys Aquarium :D

If you get in touch when you're in Perth I can show you where they are. No need to travel 7 hours away when they are at our local secret spots right here 15-20 minutes away from downtown. Bribes of wine and beers accepted.
