Anyone using this mask, and if so, does the yellow lens actually make any difference? I would use it for deep quarry dives and ocean dives when the water is dark and murky. Opinions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

The SeaVision MaxVision mask is great! I've been using the mask for low-light, reduced visibility conditions and generally murky water and it DOES enhance your vision and sharpness of definition. I did one test dive with the yellow lens and a clear lens mask, switching between the two of them at 65 feet in low/murky visibility. There is a definite enhancement in seeing at a distance and bringing objects into sharper relief. At present, I own 3 of the SeaVision masks - a clear one for instructing, a color-correcting (pink lens) and the amber MaxVision. All work great and fit most faces. SeaVision is also making the masks in a purge version for those who prefer that style.

One word. Awesome.

thanks for the quick responses - the decision is made. I've heard only good things and I believe the yellow/amber lens to be suited to the conditions where I'll do most of my dives.
