Have come across a few sea snakes this weekend, one was really interested in me today and swam around my housing in-between the strobes really curious about my focus light, a bit unnerving only managed one decent shot.

Not sure if this is Ornate Sea Snake Hydrofis ornatus or Short Sea Snake Lapemis curtus

Waiting on my buddy to send me a couple of pics that she took for a better ID

Couple of more photos taken by my buddy Hannah whilst I was busy photographing some nudis

These photos were taken off the Gulf of Oman near Kalba on the east coast of UAE

I think your ID is correct, though I'm certainly no expert.

Coloration looks very similar to a sea snake I got video footage of down in Mozambique. I think I tentatively identified that one as a banded sea krait (Laticauda Colubrina), but the detail on the video isn't great.

Good photos! I'd be a bit wary with a sea snake swimming around me, too!
