Very simple, no adujustments. Made a big differnece in my macro photos. not alot of power for any distant shots. Very small and compact. I like it alot, but I do not know much about others.
I bought my strobe, arm and cable for $345 at b and h photo. Call them up and say you heard of the web special and the cost is $345.

This strobe is only useful shot wide open, which severely limits the depth of field in macro shots. A more appropriate inexpensive flash for macro shooting with your A80 (taking advantage of manual exposure or aperture priority) would be the YS-25.
