sea & sea dx5000 error!!!

I took my dx5000 outside this afternoon to shoot a pic, and when it came on eveything was fuzzy on the lcd screen. I figured it was fogged up from coming out of the a/c into the Texas heat.

when I tuned it off, the lens did not retract and it just switched off.

when I try to turn it on on ANY picture mode, the red and green flash loading lights toggle back and forth for about 30-45 seconds and the camera turns off.

when I set it to SETUP and turn it on I get the set up menu, and it I turn it to microphone monde I get the mic on the screen, but if I turn it to ANY picture or video mode I get this on the screen:

30-01-23

Follow up...

...after some reasearch, it seems that the Richo, who makes the s&s, point n shoot cameras have this issue,
it's a lens mechanism problem and the camera has to be sent in for repairs.

I have found people on the internet with the 8000 & G1 that have also had this issue.
