I've come into possession of a "Sea Aquatic Systems" first stage. A google and site search has turned up nothing.

Can anyone give me a bit of background on this regulator? It appears to be a piston (no surprise there), I don't think there is a HP port, the tank set it was attached to used a "J" valve

I believe it is a Sub-Aquatic Systems (SAS). Sold through a lot of NASDS shops. Pretty much a Sportsways/Waterlung clone. One of the ports is an HP port. Many a diver has destroyed an lp hose on a regulator like that by installing it in the HP port. New, they usually had "HP" cut into the port plug, but yours is probably missing.
