I,m not sure if this has been asked before, if so I,m sorry, but has anyone used Sea and Sea o-ring grease on Ikelite o-rings, and if so, was there any problems with swelling etc. Your help and advice is appreciated

I think that every o-ring grease is silicone based, so, every silicone based grease is useful for any WP Housing o-ring.
The brand is just a way to charge you more for the same.
Every scuba store has an unnamed silicone grease for every scuba purpose.

Cheers emoreira. That's pretty much what I thought. I would rather have 1 decent sized tube of o-ring grease on hand, than 1/2 dozen small tubes lying around. Though to be on the safe side, I might try some on an old o-ring and see if there is any reaction.

I have always wondered about this. Sea & Sea specifically mention to use their lube on their blue orings.

THe only special lubricant I know of is for Nitrox ready regs.... apart from that, I have always wondered if there is a difference... to be safe though, I always follow all the instructions... unless there are none about specific silicone grease type
