I've been researching cameras for a while and have narrowed my choices down to SD940, SD960 or SD980. Any suggestions? I understand that everyone loves the G10, G11 and S90, but I want something a little cheaper and more automatic than manual. My first priority is excellent pictures on land, since I don't dive as much as I used to after moving from FL to PA, but I also want good pictures underwater without a strobe. I've been considering a Canon housing, but might pay the extra for Ikelite if it's significantly better. Christmas is coming soon, so I better make up my mind fast :)

Bump. Anyone have any thoughts on the next level down from the G10/S90?

I have exactly the same requirements since I'm looking to replace my Canon SD800 IS that is no longer working. Rather than replace the camera with an identical model, I wanted to get whatever they're making now to replace it. Figure it will have much better features. SD940?
