Is ScubaPro's free-parts-for-life deal only good for the first owner?

Yes, and only if the original owner registered the purchase with ScubaPro and then had the equipment serviced annually.

What's the parts cost on annual service kits for modern regulators?

What's the parts cost on annual service kits for modern regulators?

I've found a "ballpark average" to be about $10 - $15 for 2nd stage kits, and $20 - $40 for first stage kits, depending on the brand and dealer; and diaphragm vs piston (diaphragm 1st stage kits are sometimes a bit more expensive).

This is for brands that "allow" their service kits to be sold to customers (so you are paying "regular retail").

Best wishes.
