Hi All
I will soon be taking the plunge and buying my first BC (I have been renting) and I am wondering if I should go with a Scubapro or Cressi BC. The Cressi Aero and the ScubaPro Glide are the two I am torn between. I have tried both and I like them, but I wanted to get some feedback from you folks. The Cressi is cheaper, but the Scubapro comes with a lifetime warranty. I would appreciate any coments on these BC's that you would care to provide. thanks!

Another good BC I've seen and is similar to the Scubapro Glide is the Oceanic ProbeLX.

SC/cressi and genesis are the only brands carried by my dive shop, so i'd like to go with one of those.

I have a Cressi Aero Pro and ws curious about the mouth piece for the secondary air source. Can anyone tell me if it come ready to use or do you have to buy another mouth piece?

i have a ScubaPro Knighthawk with the integrated air source and it is the most comfortable bcd i tryed. i dont know much about the glide, but its probably well made. i tryed oceanic, mares, and cressi but the scubapros just felt alot better. its my opinon though.

I love the scubapro gear and feel it is high quality and will last you a long time. I use a scubapro rec tek wing (made by Dive Rite a while back) and have friends using the knighthawks and ladyhawks. In no way am I bashing someone else, but I tend to count on Scubapro and Atomic aquatics more than any other brand/mfg. Here at the NC coast our diving is always salt, always deep, and scubapro stands up to severe duty. Enjoy your diving....

Cheers, Roadtrip

After 27 years of using the same BC (Parkway), I finally decided it was time to update my equipment to the 21st century. I considered the Sea Quest Pro but ultimately purchased the Scubapro Knighthawk.

In full wetsuit and diving in colder waters, I have found the Knighthawk to be extremely comfortable and its performance superb.

I have yet to try it in warm water. It seems to me it might be overkill when you are wearing just a cheater vest and require few if any weights but I won't know until I try. I'm probably wrong, but if I'm right, I will still always have my trusty old Parkway. Take good care of your equipment and it will last a long long time.

Try them both.

My LDS spent an hour with me trying on different BC's.

I wanted an Oceanic Excursion, but it just didn't feel comfortable.

At the end of the day I ended up with a Cressi.

Being a newb aswell I highly suggest you take anything I say with a grain of salt.:coffee:
