Scubapro Twin Jet Max Fins Spring Strap Loose

I recently purchased a pair of Scubapro Twin Jet Max Fins in size large. The boot fits perfectly, however the spring straps feel really loose. So far they haven't fallen off, but I feel that they should be a lot tighter. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is this normal?

Mine feel loose as well. Mine does not slip on my foot so all is well.
