I just don't log dives
I'm looking for a service kit for a Scubapro MK10, MK25, G250, and G200. So far, all of the websites I'm finding are far away, with long shipping times and high shipping costs. I did find a US based (or at least north-america) website which sells the MK10 and MK25 o-ring tools, and ordered those.

Also, does anyone know how to know if the first stage is a MK10 versus MK 10 Plus, without opening it up? I don't see a model-number stamped on the outside of the first-stage.

The telltale sign of a 10+ is a satin seat carrier (the "plug" on the bottom of the body with the two pin spanner holes in it).

Polished chrome is a mk-10, satin is a mk-10+

On a related note, do I have to completely disassemble the regulator, to determine if it has the new or old style poppet? I haven't completely disassembled the 2nd stage regs yet, and am waiting for the Scubapro tool to arrive first.

VDH carries kits for the mk10/g200/g250

Store | Vintage Double Hose

the mk25 you have to go grey market from ebay/overseas or find a shop that will sell you kits on the DL
Thank you, I'll pick up the kits there, and the MK25 from fleabay!

I'm not seeing the G200 service kit on Vintage. Would the G250 service kit work? Or are my search skills bad?

Cal @Bryan@Vintage Double Hose and double check though @herman probably knows off the top of his head. Any new Scubapro parts can't be sourced in the US as it is a violation of the dealership agreements to sell parts/kits which is why they are coming from overseas.

Nothing special to take the second stage apart. G250 - Pop the retainer clip and screw out the adjuster (g200 - remove the end plug). Dump parts (spring and pad or spring and balance chamber)... Unscrew cover. Pop out diaphragm retainer ring and diaphragm. Carefully spread feet to remove from air barrel, and dump poppet out (answers your question). Wooden pencil or chopstick removes orifice once unscrewed... Loosen nut, and remove air barrel...

Thanks for the assistance.

To buy herman's tools, do I have to contact @herman on this site? I think I saw him on here in another post.

I ordered these from scubatools.com, because I couldn't find the Herman tools anywhere. I would cancel the order, but it just shipped.

1 - Scubapro Mk5/Mk10 O'ring Tool Kit SKU:20-275-400
1 - Scubapro Mk20/Mk25 Assembly Tool SKU:20-150-200
1 - Scubapro Piston Bullet, Brass SKU:20-140-100

Should I also get the "Scubapro Universal Tool"? Lets say I expect to service each 1st & 2nd stage reg 5 times. Seems like it might be useful, given I have 2x SP first-stages & 3x SP second-stages.
