Hi guys,

Can anyone explain me, why the parts of the new Scubapro service kits are grouped in paper bags, sealed with color dots?

What logic is used for grouping the parts?
What means each color (red dot, green dot, black dot and etc.)?

I'll be very happy to know what's the idea behind it. Unfortunatelly on the last Scubapro tech seminar no one explained that.

Happy diving!

My understanding the new packaging is environmentally friendly, and the groups of part are because not all kits include things like the S-wing poppet so it comes separate in its own paper bag.

Hi guys,

Despite the fact that I was expecting a very smart approach for parts segregation based on their functional group (intermediate section, high pressure section and etc.) the correct answer is that the service kit parts are composed by hand in the factory and with the help of color dots, the staff knows what's in each bag.

In summary - it's an optimisation of the "manufacturing" process.

I hope this gives you a piece of mind :)

Stay safe and happy diving!
