AF Stands for Anti-Freeze. Its standard on all new MK25's. All it basically is, is a new part that allows more water flow to the spring and piston and some coils to prevent ice formation.
Its the part in between the HP ports and the LP ports.

The whole AF kit involves a new composite piston with a mirror polished stem, a flexible rubber boot that slips over the exposed part of the piston stem and cracks off any ice that may try to form, an insulating piston bushing that further reduces ice formation, a teflon coated mainspring and, on the lastest Mk 25 variant, a swivel cap with enlarged oval shaped holes entering the ambient pressure chamber and fins to improve heat transfer.

All Mk 25's made since June 2003 will have the complete AF kit.
