Hey Guys,
I got this set of regs in a package with some tanks, so I'm looking to sell them. I hooked them up to a tank, didn't notice free flows and they seemed to breathe well, however they are due for a service.

It's also my understanding the MK20 could be upgrade to an MK25 pretty easily.

I'm asking $200 shipped.

Do you know what piston version is in the Mk20 and what poppet is in the G200B?

I do not, how would i go about checking that?

Both checks take a bit of disassembly. Are you up to that?

1st stage can be checked by removing the seat retainer. If you see a brass or dark tip of the piston, then it is an old style seat originally installed in that vintage (small ambient holes) of the Mk20. They have a problem holding steady IP and may require frequent cleaning. If it is shiny steel, then it should be the upgraded composite piston, On the G200B, you need to remove the adjustment plug (opposite the hose end), dump out the balance chamber and spring an peek inside. A metal stem and blue poppet is old stuff. A white stem and poppet is the upgraded version.

Honestly I'd prefer not to do that as I'm not 100% comfortable with reg breakdown and would rather not do so before selling them. If they were my own I'd be more willing (that is, if I knew I would be diving them after).

I can provide serials, etc if that will help. My understand was these don't have any upgraded internals.
