After waiting two months:eek: Scubapro finannly send me a new first stage as a replacement for the MK 10 that was found with cracks in it in January. The replacement is a mk 25. So now I just need get the long and short hoses attached.

By the way there are pictures of the faulty first stage here in the attachment. (if this works  )

WOW... What caused this to happen??? I also have the Mk25.. Have yet to dive it though.. I put it with the G250hp.. hope it works out well.

That was nice of SP to send you a Mk25 as a replacement. Was the Mk10 still under warranty after all these years?

I think that Scubapro has a lifetime guarenty on their regulators. And it's been serviced every year by the same LDS - where I also bought it used. It was one of the sets used for students.

As to how it happend. This is the original tread:

pendive has a good explanation which was thought likely also by the LDS technician.

So it is a constructional error.

Cool. It's very unusual to see a Mk10 that is still under warranty.
