Scubapro Mask Comfort Strap

Hi everyone,

I bought a Scubapro Comfort strap for my mask, but unfortunately, it seems that only the more recent masks have round buckles, so it is not a direct fit.

My mask is a Synergy 2 Trufit, but still has the buckle with two buttons.

After some research I found the attached retrofit of round buckes:

I believe that conversion kit is designed for the Scubapro Frameless masks (except the Frameless Mini).

Older SCUBAPRO Synergy Masks like the one the OP says he owns do not have the “tab” lock buckle used by the Comfort Strap. He is asking about a buckle retrofit. Did you retrofit yours or did you purchase a newer model that supports the “tab” lock out if the box?

Agreed. I did retrofit my Frameless and it works fine.

Cool, so you confirm that you retrofitted the blow product in your mask in order to use the comfort strap? It is easy to replace?

Scubapro Frameless with comfort strap buckles. Remove the two metal pins holding the existing buckles and replace with these. The pins are plastic, but they seem to hold well.

Ok, my current buckle is the one in the image:

Maybe, it would not work. I think there is a small pin holding it horizontally...

Probably I will have a comfort strap and buckle to sell GRRRRR

Update!

It was not a direct mount, but I managed to it and looks good.

I had to mount it horizontally, it is not perfect but it is secured.
