Hey everyone!! just got back from living in central america and spirit airways lost my dive gear!! Im looking at getting a new scubapro knighthawk BC can anyone let us know if they are worth getting thanks
chris

I am getting a knighthawk pretty soon after looking for my first BC. Go check out leasurepro for reviews. I found everyone has their own opinion so you have to go off of what fits you best. For me it was either the Knighthawk or the Oceanic Excursion. I picked the Knighthawk.

I dive the Knighthawk with the Air2. Really great set up. Like it better than any jacket style I have tried.

Top quality, many good features. The only drawback I have heard of is the small pockets, including a roll out pocket. I have attached XSscuba glue on pockets to my wet suit so I can carry the needed items. The roll out pocket works great for the small items I pick up to bring back.

You can absolutely never go wrong with a piece of SCUBAPRO equipment!! (As long as it's suited for the type of diving you'll be doing). Do it - you'll be happy with your purchase.
I use a SCUBAPRO Classic Plus, which, though a bit more expensive, I think is the best BCD you can get for recreational diving! It's comfortable, simple, and operates without a flaw. Several people I know use the Knighthawk, and they say the same thing - it's great! I myself have rented them a couple of times, and I tend to agree - though I prefer a BCD without adjustable shoulder-straps.

Hey MikeMill what part of Sac are you from. I am in Rocklin a stones throw away. Im sure you have been over to Dolphin? One of the guys over there also didnt like the fact that there was no crotch strap so He bought one and connected it to the cummerbun.

Cheers,
Scott

I love my Knighthawk and so does one of my dive buddies.

Pockets are small but the only thing I keep in them is maybe a backup light and a whistle.

Get a single-tank-wing and an alu- or SS-back-plate!

You don´t need pockets on a BC. If you need pockets, put them on your suit, or get x-shorts...

Ever have a tank strap fail? I had a tank slip out due to that. Fortunately, I was getting on a boat and the diver behind me boosted the tank up. If that Knighthawk only has one strap, consider a BC with two.

I dive the Knighthawk and found it to be a rugged design with a clean clutter-free chest area. Adjustable swivels at the should makes the fit customed tailored for each diver. Integrated weight pockets easy to removed and re-install. Trim pockets in the back to help offset the tilt forward feeling at the surface. Would highly recommend it.
