-Can I put a standard Scubapro Power Inflator on a Halcyon eclipse. Will it fit properly? If I can put it on the eclipse, does anyone has any ideas as how best to do this?
-The Halcyon stainless steel version 2 inflator just has too many reported problems.

Short answer yes, The hose should fit fine. You can put 2 zip ties to hold it or reuse the Halcyon clamp that is on your eclipse.

If you're going to use the Halcyon clamp, you will need to use an adhesive to hold the power inflator onto the hose ... like Halcyon does. Otherwise it has a tendency to leak. I don't recommend it.

Also, be careful taking the Halcyon inflator off as it's not difficult to damage the inflator hose when removing the inflator. You can slide a small flathead screwdriver up between the hose and inflator and carefully work the adhesive loose. Then just clean the adhesive residue off the inside of the hose, slide the replacement inflator in place, and use two zip ties to hold it in place. That will work better than the clamp, and you don't need glue to keep it from leaking.
