Wow, ScubaPro's being pretty proactive if they only have one reported incident.

Fortunately my TransPac II didn't need the adapter. Hooyah.

Perhaps, but we both know Scubapro is not very good at communicating with the end user. I have a registered Air 2 from the affected period (not using the adapter, though) and they have not contacted me directly nor via the shop I bought it from during those couple months. The CPSC notice is dated 12/09/04 so I thought it would be good to pass it on. If I did not monitor the CPSC site I would not have known about it (although I did subsequently see an earlier post in the regulator section here).
