I have two Scubapro 550's...was told that they could basically be upgraded to 600's....by installing the adjustment knob.
Is this true?

The G200 and G250 (essentially the predecessors of the S550 and S600) shared the same case. If SP has stayed with the same basic forumla of usinf the same case with the G550 and S600, the conversion would be very straight forward but I'll have to check the part numbers when I get home tonight. I'll also get an estimate of how much it would cost for parts.
The case is the same.
Parts should be around $20.00 for a knob assembly and o-rings.
