I couldn't believe my eyes, I was flipping channels this morning and left the tv on MSNBC, when the next commercial was to become certified as a diver. The sponsor was Bonaire and they directed the viewer to a website The Best Dive Stores.

This is good for the industry.

I am glad to see scuba in some commercials now. I know back when we got certified there were several TV shows about scuba but they all went away. :depressed: I doubt we would have made the plunge if we hadn't seen those shows, it just made it all look so fun and easy. :D

We need more Scuba on TV. ;)

It was a dark day when Deep Sea Detectives was cancelled.

It's a co-op buy of the DEMA Be a Diver campaign, which has been discussed elsewhere here on SB. My own "ad guy" take on the strategy and campaign is that it's a collosal waste of money.
