does anybody know the scuba pro color designation for the mk 2 kit. The 008 has white paint. The 22 has blue. Looking for material and duro. Also if you have a preferred material and duro let me know. This will be a deco reg 50% O2.

If you are rebuilding to use this reg as a deco reg, you can buy the SP ‘nitrox’ kit which has a green seat, presumably made out of something more O2 compatible than the stock seat, and a couple of green o-rings for the HP section. That’s what I used when I rebuilt mine for 100% O2 use. For me it was entirely about getting the O2 seat.

But, a very good case could be made to use viton 90 (or 85) duro for the 2 o-rings that go on the DIN retainer, viton 75 duro for the two piston o-rings, and viton 75 for the port plugs. There are only 3 o-rings that are exposed to HP; the two on the DIN retainer and the HP port plug. Presumably you’ll be using a SPG on that plug, in my case I was able to find an O2 clean (claimed by the manufacturer) button SPG and I used a viton 85 o-ring on it.

The two orings on the DIN retainer are the 015 and the 111?
