What are some of your favorite movies involving scuba diving? I know there was a post earlier and I searched but I could not find it.
Thanks

into the blue is worth it just for the jessica-alba-underwater scenes... though i annoyed all my non-diving friends when they penetrated the wreck of a plane while SNORKELING. i couldn't keep my mouth shut at that point.

Fools Gold. They actually did few of the basic scuba skills. It was cool to see. And having Kate Hudson in it helped as well. :)

Funny too.

Edit: Add Coral Reef Adventure to the list as well (great Imax movie) and The Abyss

Thunderball greatest scuba scenes ever.
Creature From The Black Lagoon: Filmed in Fla. mid 50's about what scuba divers found. (Originally filmed in 3D.)

The Deep is the earliest one I can recall.

Does the Abyss count?

When I was a kid there were some WWII movies around about the UDT squads, later called Seals, which were pretty interesting to a kid. But beanazz most scuba-related movies contain so much fantasy-based script, with actors supposedly doing so many impossible things, I can't get too interested in them except for, as mentioned a couple times before, lusting over the shots of the girly bodies involved. I imagine without this scenery and fantasy they would be pretty boring.
