Scuba in Ten City Tour?

So what’s this “Scuba in Ten City Tour” that’s going on in ten different dive shops throughout the country? I noticed Scuba Toys, and one of the dive shops I go to; Scuba Emporium is holding this event. I was wondering if Larry from Scuba Toys could enlighten us on this subject…seems like a good way to test all of your gear before the season opens and try some new stuff too.

I just updated the info... it should be a neat event. We've got Photographer Rick Frehsee coming in to give free photo tips, lots of food, specials, etc. For those out of town guests, we've got special hotel rates set up if you want to come visit.

Now that Larry has broken his silence, I will also be there to support Scuba Toys and represent Zeagle Systems. Please stop by and say hello!!

I will also be bringing a few Zeagle goodies (including at least one BC and Regulator) for Larry and his crew to give away as they see fit!

Thanks for the posts everyone! The closest one for me is in the Chicago area at Scuba Emporium in Orland Park Illiniois this Saturday, it's a 30 minute drive on I-80 for me. I Wish I could go to the one in Texas to meet Larry and Scott, but it's to far of a drive for me.

Why don't you fly in and make a weekend of it? We can pick you up at DFW and get you to a hotel, then transport you to ScubaToys for the event. Just food for thought...

Now that’s hospitality!!! Thanks, but I already scheduled my vacations and I work some weekends. The shop out by me should be fine and I have this coming Saturday (the 30th) off. I’ll post on this thread later next week and let you know how it went. I might drop by on the 14th via Larry’s web cam to see the turnout…so I’ll be there in spirit. I would love to go to an authentic Texas Barbeque though!

I highly recommend it to all who could attend. A Sherwood rep was there so you could demo their equipment in the pool. The shop had free food, pool time, camera tips, and prizes. Who could ask for more?
