Edinburgh, Glasgow, Oban, I'm planning a holiday from July 23-31 and I want to have diving sessions around Edinburgh and Oban. But I can't find any operators who can help me organize this... Maybe you can suggest something specific.

Operator as in a dive boat, dive shop renting cylinders or a trip with guided dives?
Most diving is arranged between buddies or clubs. There are some commercial operators, but they mainly run courses. Diving is either on the East or West coast, if you use an Edinburgh or Glasgow outfit then you must travel to whichever coast they're using - Maintly the West coast less affected by weather.
I was out yesterday (West coast) when an Edinburgh club turned up.
