Hi there,

Saw there was some cheap flights from London to Porto Santo ( Azores )

Does anyone know what the dive sites are over there? and if they are any good?

( Porto Santo is the island situated to the right of Madeira )

any info appreciated!

Cheers,

Porto Santo is in the Madeira Achipelago not in the Azores archipelago which is much further west in the middle of the Atlantic.

I have a couple of friends who went there last june, they were in Machico. The water was around 20° with typical atlantic fish but nothing big except a few eagle rayfish. Dives were usually between 15 and 20m, then you had to dig to go deeper
