Hi. Just got back from PV and the diving there was much better than expected, mostly due to the excellent dive shop that we used, Pacific Scuba. The staff there was very friendly and professional and I highly recommend them. They also have very good equipment, if you don't have your own. One caveat, if you're used to Carribean diving, PV is different. We saw Manta rays and quite a few puffer fish, etc, etc.. However, visibility was only around 40 ft and the water was pretty cold, low to mid 70's. In any case, go with Pacific Scuba and you'll have a good time. No, I do not work for them!!!

Hey great info on diving PV. One of our timeshare locations is in PV and we love it there.
I actually did my first dive (non certified) there. I'll take your advice the next time we are there. Thanks David

btw: I had a mod move your thread here to the Mexico forum.

I spend quite a bit of time in PV and have done 63 dives in the last 6 weeks there, the deepest to 207'. Pacific Scuba and Twin Dolphins work together and although I dove almost exclusively with Twin Dolphins because they have better boats, I would not hesitate to dive with Pacific.
The water is really starting to clear up there and diving at El Morro last weekend the vis was at least 110' as we could see the bottom around the main rock. There was an Orca spotted off Nuevo 10 days ago as well. There are lots of Mantas along the shore down by the Mahauitas and Yelapa and I've been riding Curly on a regular basis.
Even though Los Arcos is a very busy spot and the vis has not been the greatest in the shallows, the wall around the corner has a 1,600' drop and the water has been very clear with 60' to 80' vis all the time.
I'm back in Canada to go fishing on our yearly trip but am going back to PV in July for several months so if anyone needs any info feel free to contact me. By the way, the big tuna are back at the Banco and will be at Corbetana soon!

Hi Troy. You can email Giovanni at Twin Dolphins. www.twindolphinspv.com . They will give you all the info you need. Tell them Dennis sent you. (I don't work for them or get any type of fee, I'm just a friend). Twin Dolphins can arrange to pick you up at the marina in NV if you wish as well. I'm going back on the 16th, I just got back from my annual fishing holiday here in Saskatchewan, and I might just be diving with you one day. By the way, welcome to the board!

Hey dennis thanks alot I already have them on my list kinda waitng till i get there to "feel it out" . keep postong us with conditions update i only have 17 days left.

No worries. The blue water is back and it's warm now too. I talked to some of my friends yesterday and they say the water has changed for the summer. Looks like you are going down at the right time. The big fish are back now too. Danny on the Delmar hooked a 1000lb. Marlin on Tuesday out at Corbetana and they fought it for 7 hours.
I can't wait to get back!

Got a call this morning from Adolfo from Vallartech, the Marietas had 100' vis at 82F yesterday. They were taking some more divers out there today. Geeze... 7 more days.

uR KILLIN MY DENNIS I GOT 13 DAYS TO GO. CAN'T WAIT
