Hi Everyone,
I thought these videos might be of interest to some people. I work on marine biology research in Downtown Seattle, Washington and get to scuba dive right on the urbanized waterfront. There's some great diversity just under the surface that I was surprised by given the amount of modification to the shorelines through city development. I thought I might share some videos with the hope that I'm sharing a unique perspective that hasn't been experienced much. There's many species of fish, crabs, and algae nearly in the shadow of the Space Needle. If you watch until the end of some of the videos, I film as I'm surfacing to show the location of our dive site relative to the city. Also, there's a funny moment in one of the videos where I manage to snag a bull kelp stipe in my regulator clip and get tangled; seems like a one in a million shot. Thanks for watching!

VERY VERY silly question...
I dove in Seattle's Coves (right in front of the downtown area) and loved the place.

So the silly question here is, are there sculptures in the park or is it just a name? :dork2:
