A scuba diver in his 50s died Sunday after being pulled out of the water near Blind Bay.Halifax RCMP said in a news release later Sunday that the 58-year-old man drowned.
Another man pulled the victim from the water shortly before emergency crews were called at 6:15 p.m., Cpl. Scott MacRae said. Emergency Health Services staff pronounced the man dead shortly after they arrived.
