Hi! As someone who has worked for a marine biology/scuba summer camp Seacamp.Org Seacamp Association located in Big Pine Key Florida. I have seen how well young people respond to marine conservation issues, and how, with proper training, they can develop into confident, safe divers. This summer I am interning with a liveaboard dive company in Freeport, Bahamas, developing an educational program for them to offer to school and university groups. The company already offers scout and venture crew trips, and I am excited to create the educational program and get students interested in marine science and conservation. I have worked on a website explaining the different goals of the educational program Field Study Caribbean Liveaboard Science and I hope you will check it out to see what opportunities are available for students to check out the spectacular marine environments of the Bahamas!
