I took a risk and left the safety of the wreck (not advisable) and was rewarded by unexpectedly finding a school of 50+ Sand Tiger Sharks schooling in the open water. I was amazed and was the only diver to witness this in our group.

Which wreck? How far off the wreck were they?
 
Surprised you had to go that far to find them...especially on that wreck. I’ll guess it was a cattle boat with 18 divers in the water.
 
I smiled to see it was the CaribSea - my first experience with schooling sharks was on that wreck too! T
 
I was fortunate enough to run into about 8 sizeable sand tigers last week at the AR145 wreck. Nothing even close to that spectacular vid of yours, but it was enough to make our day! =)
